• 8-week MBSR program seminar
    • Orientation/commitment
    • Weekly seminar group meeting
      • 2.5 hours per week optimum (can be shorter and still valuable)
      • Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices and exercises
      • Group sharing/dialogue in pairs, small and large groups
      • Presentation of concepts and review of upcoming week’s home practice
    • Home practice requirements
      • 45-60 minute daily commitment optimum (shorter is also possible)
      • Guided meditation and yoga posture sequences (4 home practice CD’s and practice manual included)
      • Weekly assignments to bring attention to daily experience
    • All-day intensive between weeks 6 and 7
      • 9 am to 4 pm
      • Fully guided day of silent practice
    • Follows 4-semester annual schedule

    • Individually tailored to meet the needs of the particular group
    • One-time or ongoing
